The Vehicle License Plate Recognizer, WTC-2002 of Winner Technology is designed to interface with any places such as parking lots, buildings, public facilities, apartments, banks, hotels, factories, etc. which need access control of vehicles.

WTC-2002 has a communication protocol which could interface easily with magnetic card reader of every kind, RF/ID reader, IC card reader, etc. which are used for the use of access control, so that it can be used either with these equipments or independent of them.

Most of the vehicle license plate recognizers spread in the country are used in the parking lots either by remodeling the models which were developed for the use of roads or by importing the ones which were developed for the use of English & numbers recognition with high prices from Europe, Singapore, U.S.A., etc., which had scruples about introducing vehicle license plate recognizers in the parking lots, however, there was a serious problem to be solved yet, that didn't harmonize with the reality of our nation, that is, the models which could recognize only English and numbers had the limit to Korean recognition.

The Vehicle License Plate Recognizer, WTC-2002 is developed in the structure which could be used easily in the access control of the parking lots or buildings with moderate prices and marked an epoch in the access control of vehicles.
 
 
 
 
T E C H N O L O G Y
 
The Vehicle License Plate Recognizer (WTC-2002) of Winner Technology has been held out in a leading position with epoch-making improvement of recognition speed and accuracy, more reliable system through five times of version up.

And at the same time, this system has reduced the time of license plate recognition using multi-level distributed processing and parallel processing and has improved the accuracy of license plate recognition in an epoch-making way by handling sufficient compensation for the outer difficulties like the entry angle of the vehicle, the incline of the license plate using various A.I. techniques.
LOOP COIL
 

The operation of loop coil is carried out by taking high frequency signal from the vehicle detector and forming magnetic field around the loop coil and then sending the change of impedance to the vehicle detector when the vehicle passes the loop coil.

STROBE
 
The Strobe(Infrared Rays Illuminator) cooperates with the licence plate recog- nition camera and operates enough to capture vividly the image of the vehicles which enter and go out when the entering vehicles are being detected.
CAMERA
 
When a vehicle approaches the vehicle detection sensor, the camera captures the front or back side of the vehicle automatically and transmits it to the license plate recognizer. As for the license plate recognition camera, it can acquire precise vehicle image without regard to the speed of entering vehicles (0∼250Km/h) since the Progressive Scan Digital Camera is being used.
A lens of high vividness is equipped with the license plate recognition camera together.
HOST Computer
 
The vehicle license plate number transmitted from the Vehicle License Plate Recognizer(MTC-2002) and the information transmitted from the Ticket Dispenser, and RF reader, etc. are combined and saved in the database. If the vehicle license plate number is not recognized completely or a target vehicle of special supervision is detected, the message can be so printed and the screen of captured image can be so displayed on the monitor that the operator can take proper action according to the situation via keyboard.

The ticket information transmitted from Exit Ticket Verifier or Fee Calculation Computer at the exit of parking lot and the license plate number of the vehicle to be parked are compared with each other and in case, the vehicle license plate number of the vehicle to be parked and the ticket information are different from the ones when it entered the parking lot, both the entering and going out screens of the vehicle can be so displayed on the monitor at the same time with a warning signal that the operator can decide direct, handle flexible fee calculation and the opening and closing of the barrier gate.

Moreover, the registration of reservation in advance is possible by using the host computer and permitting the entering and going out of the reserved vehicles, controlling the vehicles which cause offense against parking order, supporting the vehicles visiting the parking place with remote control free of charge, searching for the vehicles which have been left alone for a long time and handling the statistical data by parking time are possible by using the information of the registered vehicle.
BARRIER GATE
 

The Automatic Barrier Gate(GT-2031-5) for the use of vehicle control is installed in entrances and exits for vehicles passage and uses micro-process technology to guarantee the flexibility of control and modern approach and it has all the proper expansion options including digital input/output unit, serial communication interface(RS-232C).

GTC-2030 and attached control device are equipped in the inner base of the barrier gate. GT-2031-5 has high durability so that it can handle its given functions in its fullness even if it has to deal a large amount of work in a very short time and it is constructed to a case made of steel 2.0mm powder coated for outdoor use, which has protective features against sooty smoke of the vehicles or salt of coast.

GT-2031-5 is proud of its fast opening and closing speed (within 1.5 seconds), flexible interface with vehicle control system, opening/closing function by various methods built-in.
